This beautiful Finca is situated in a valley next to the town of Andratx, walking distance to the centre would take 15 minutes.  The original house is  stone. The house sits on the edge of the land which is formed of terraced agricultural land, the largest terrace is where the house is and the wells, and most of the fruit trees.   The access is good, entering the property there is plenty of parking.  Once parked, there are many lovely features like the water fall with water lilies, the raised stone dining table for summer dining, the built porched BBQ area on the side with the old bread oven, which can be used all year round as the porch is built into the rock, and protected from the weather, and wind.

There are many out houses for the farming equipment and also for the tractor.  Along the property there are many more out houses for animals, as well as for a horse.  Along the stone terrace there are many vines.

On the upper terrace from the house there is a separate entrance for a vehicle which makes this terrace easily accessed for what ever reason.  Above this terrace there is the wood land which stops at the road at the back, being this the north boundary.

The house is quaint with an enormous dining area when one enters  into the house, the roof made with vaulted bovadillas made of terracota, this gives charm, and character to this light and airy room.  On the left hand side there is the stone wall of the original house which has been kept visible, going through the door way in the wall brings one into the sitting room, and the cisterna, a water catchment tank which collects the rain water off the roof in winter.  On the left there is a lovely arch which leads one into the kitchen and pantry, with a large fire place, with plenty of windows to let in air and light. Here is where the family would gather.

At the end of the sitting room there is the staircase going up to the first floor, 4 steps up there is a landing and off it there is the family bathroom.  Upstairs is open plan the room has not be divided into bedrooms, this is where the family dry there sausages.   At the end of this room there is a lovely terrace which takes in the lovely views of the small hamlet, and the mountains behind.  All along the front wall of this large space, there is the terrace which is the roof of the large dining area, here the views are stunning running the eye all the way down the property and up to the mountains beyond.

The property has all the sun in the morning, and looses it in the late afternoon.  The house faces east. The land was a market garden so the land has already an irrigation system in place.

This property needs love and attention as it is a white canvas inside with the potential of making a very unusual  family home with plenty of character and charm.
